Will MS Dhoni Play in The Next IPL Season, Kashi Vishwanathan, CEO of CSK Confirmed

The IPL 2025 retention list has to be sent by October 31st. Before that, the Chennai Super Kings got some very positive news. Dhoni told CSK that he will continue to play for this team, but it was unclear if he will play for them during the season to come. This has been confirmed by the team’s CEO.

On whether or not he will play in the upcoming IPL season, MS Dhoni is making his position plain. This was confirmed by CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan, who added that the former Chennai Super Kings captain would play in the next IPL season. Fans of CSK have been thrilled about this news.

In a chat with Cricbuzz on Saturday, franchise CEO Kashi Vishwanathan stated, “What else do we need when he is ready? We are content. The statement from Vishwanathan follows Dhoni’s remark that he wants to enjoy cricket for the few years left in his career. Dhoni will play for CSK as an uncapped player.

It is going to be able to get in touch with the franchise owner.

It is important to keep in mind that Dhoni’s decision was already expected, but CSK managers claimed they needed Mahi’s blessing. But now that it is clear, Vishwanathan says Dhoni will give franchise owner N Srinivasan a call in the next few days to finalise the list of players who are to be retained.

These players’ retention will be finalised.

Let us tell you that Ravindra Jadeja might come in first on CSK’s list of kept workers. Rituraj Gaikwad will be ranked number two after this. It is believed that CSK’s manager completed the deal in Chennai last week, choosing to retain Mathisha Pathirana at number three. Two players can be retained: Sameer Rizvi, currently uncapped, Devon Conway, and Shivam Dubey. Srinivasan and Dhoni’s talks will lead to the final pick.

The Election Commission has given big responsibility.

The former Indian captain may have been handed major duties for the polls in Jharkhand. In the Jharkhand assembly elections, Dhoni will take part in the Election Commission’s awareness campaign, Sweep, according to Chief Election Officer Ravi Kumar. He intends to get as many individuals to submit votes as he can. The state’s voting percentage could go up as an outcome.
