Cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma want to visit the Mathura (UP) ashram of Premanand Maharaj on Jan 10 to seek his blessing. The video of Kohli and Anushka’s visit was also uploaded to the official Premanand Maharaj Instagram account.
Returning from the tour of Australia on Friday, Kohli and Anushka visited Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj’s ashram with their two kids, Vamika and Akay. Even during the Australia tour, Kohli was having trouble scoring runs, as he has been in poor form for a while.
On Social Media, the Video Became Viral
In just one hour, millions of people loved the social media video showing Kohli and Anushka arriving at Premanand Maharaj’s ashram. Anushka is conversing with Premanand Maharaj at this time. The footage shows that Kohli and Anushka lowered their heads and saluted Premanand Maharaj as soon as they arrived in front of him. Premanand Maharaj questioned the Indian batter, “Is your mind happy?” as soon as he arrived in front of Premanand Maharaj. Kohli was seen grinning as he nodded and replied in the positive.

What Was Discussed Between Premanand Maharaj and Anushka?
Anushka’s family has been a follower of Swami Premanand for a long time, and she had previously visited the ashram several times, bringing Kohli along on a few occasions.
Anushka explained to Premanand Maharaj that she had wanted to ask him some questions during her previous visit, but that everyone there had already asked the same thing. “You simply show me love and passion,” Anushka said to Premanand Maharaj. Because it is hard to shift to devotion after gaining this worldly honor, Premanand Maharaj remarked, “You are really brave.” We believe that he (Kohli) will be particularly affected by devotion. Anushka said, “Devotion is the highest thing.” Then Premanand Maharaj grinned and added, “Yes, devotion is the highest thing.” Believe in God, recite his name, and lead a happy and loving life.
The Premanand Maharaj commended the couple’s influence, saying he brings joy to a few through his spiritual activity; their deeds bring happiness to the entire country through their actions. This, he said, is a form of service as their influence “reaches every child in the country.”
In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the bat did not perform well.
In the just-finished five-match Test series against Australia, Kohli was unable to play well. His routine was disrupted after he made a century in the second innings of the Perth Test. During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Kohli was out on balls that went outside the off stump eight times, a problem that plagued him continuously. In five games, he amassed 190 runs at an average of 23.75. Conversations on Kohli’s future in Test cricket have also started.
