The Indian and Australian cricket teams are competing in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, which consists of five test matches. At this point, the series is tied at one. The first test was won by India by 295 runs. In the second test, Australia won by 10 wickets over India. Shami is absent from this series for India.

After Jaspreet Bumrah was the only bowler to perform well in the second day-night test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, calls began to be made to call up Mohammad Shami from India and include him in the squad. Shami’s inclusion in the team has also been demanded by former Indian coach Ravi Shastri, but Rohit, who is defending all the other bowlers, does not seem to think highly of Shami.

Following the loss in the second Test match, Rohit Sharma was questioned about Shami. He responded that although the team is open to him, his knee swelled again while he was competing for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. We are watching him closely. He should not be under any pressure to come back. Rohit’s actions indicated that he was not interested in Shami joining the team.

Rohit had already stated that it is hard to make a decision about Shami before the Test series against New Zealand began in Bengaluru on October 15 when he was questioned about including him in the squad traveling to Australia. He has fallen behind a little because of swelling in his knee, and he will have to start over. The National Cricket Academy is where he attends. We do not want to send an unprepared Shami to Australia.

On Sunday, Rohit was spotted discussing a similar topic here. He had previously referred to the media’s reports that Shami would not be selected for the Australia tour because of his fitness as fake news on the internet. According to sources, after the day’s play in the Test match was over, Shami, who was recuperating at the NCA in Bengaluru at the time, met Rohit.

The two got into a heated argument over Rohit’s remarks about Shami, 34, being included in the team for the Australia tour. Shami has since represented Bengal in seven Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy games and one Ranji match. It has been discovered that he will participate in Monday’s game against Chandigarh as well. In such a situation, the question arises whether Shami is really not fully fit for the test, or is there something else
