According to reports, Apple is going to launch the iPhone SE 4 and the more powerful iPhone SE 4 Plus, likely boosting its cheap lineup. As per leaks, it will have a 6.1-inch display, Face ID, and a USB-C port, just like the iPhone 14.
The lineup reports are now even more exciting. Latest reports indicate that Apple plans to put out both the iPhone SE 4 and the iPhone SE 4 Plus. If this is true, Apple’s low-cost iPhone line is going to see an important change. The Japanese website Macotakara published these details after obtaining a 3D-printed version of the iPhone SE 4 and matching it with current iPhone 14 accessories.
As per Macotakara’s report, the iPhone SE 4 and the iPhone 14 share a lot of links in terms of size and style. As to the mockup, the SE 4 will have a 6.1-inch screen, the same size as the iPhone 14. Face ID may finally make its debut in the SE range, since the handset will likely have a TrueDepth front camera in the same size and position as the iPhone 14. Also, the mockup has figures that line up with the iPhone 14: height 146.7 mm, width 71.5 mm, and thickness 7.80 mm.
In line with the EU’s request for a worldwide charging standard, the leaked mockup also suggests that the iPhone SE 4 could have a USB-C port rather than the conventional Lightning connector. On the device’s bottom, it is said to have three holes on the left and five on the right, which may be for dual speakers and a built-in mic like the iPhone 14.
Amazingly, the SE 4 mockup’s rear camera arrangement differs little from the iPhone 14’s. Accessories for the iPhone 14 camera may not fit exactly since the SE 4’s camera looks to have a smaller diameter and a different distance between the main camera and the flash.
An iPhone SE 4 Plus was also hinted about in the leak. Macotakara reports that the iPhone SE 4 initially launched in a 6.7-inch model that was close to the iPhone 14 Plus. But it appears that Apple has also introduced a 6.1-inch version. This suggests that a larger screen might be an option for the SE 4 Plus, giving users more options. Since Apple has not yet announced the final design and size range, it is still not known if both models will be launched.
Fans of Apple are excited to see what the firm has in store for its SE range. The iPhone SE 4 may be an important leap over its predecessor thanks to design ideas from the iPhone 14 and its additions of Face ID and USBC.
