The Cameo’s design reflects the careful construction methods employed at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood facility today, while paying homage to the open-top vehicles of the company’s early years. The model, which is made up of meticulously engineered parts, is intended to give owners the tactile experience of putting together a Rolls-Royce themselves.
The Cameo is made of polished aluminum and solid oak, mimicking the recognizable two-tone finish of Rolls-Royce automobiles. The oak body is magnetically attached to the aluminum chassis during the Rolls-Royce assembly’s “marriage” stage, which is when the body and drivetrain join.. The interior of the model features self-leveling wheel caps that maintain the “RR” monogram upright even when the wheels turn, and it is 3D printed in Grace White, a distinctive Rolls-Royce color. A driver figure sitting in the cockpit completes the sculpture
