FIFA, the Federation Internationale de Football Association, has revealed the 2034 and 2030 World Cup hosts. FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced that Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 World Cup, while Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will co-host the tournament’s 100th edition, the 2030 World Cup.

FIFA made this announcement in a tweet on its X page, which read, “Introducing the hosts of the next two editions.” Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay will host the centennial celebration matches, while Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will host the FIFA World Cup 2030. Four years later, in 2034, Saudi Arabia will host the FIFA World Cup.

The Associated Press reports that Saudi Arabia hopes to host all 104 games, though there is conjecture that some might take place in adjacent or neighboring nations.

According to the report, as part of the planned futuristic mega-project, Saudi Arabia has proposed 15 stadiums spread across five cities, including eight in the capital Riyadh, four in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah, and one each in Abha, Al Khobar, and Neom. Every World Cup match will have at least 40,000 seats in each stadium.

The United States, Canada, and Mexico will co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 2030 FIFA World Cup will be hosted jointly by Portugal, Morocco, and Spain.

The 2034 FIFA World Cup will take place in Saudi Arabia.
