Although it was not released in theaters, “Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama” was screened in India in 1993 at the 24th International Film Festival of India. After that, in 2000, it was aired on TV networks and gained popularity among Indian viewers.
Many changes have been made by Vijayendra Prasad
Veteran screenwriter V Vijayendra Prasad, father of filmmaker SS Rajamouli, has made some artistic changes to the movie. He is well-known for the worldwide success of hit movies like Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise RRR (2022) and Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).

On January 10, the new Ramayan: The Legend of Prince Rama trailer will be made available online. Koichi Sasaki, Ram Mohan, and Yugo Sako are the film’s directors. Arun Govil, star of Ramayan, portrayed Ram in the first Hindi version of the movie, while Namrata Sahni played Sita and the late Amrish Puri played Ravana.
