The IMD has predicted that heavy rain is likely in parts of Navsari and Valsad on Sunday, heavy to very heavy rain in Vadodara and Chhota Udaipur on Monday, heavy rain in Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, and Narmada on Tuesday, and heavy to very heavy rain in Narmada and Bharuch on Wednesday.
“Asana” moves towards the sea
Let us tell you that the pressure formed in the Arabian Sea has turned into Cyclone Asana. This is the first cyclone to hit the Arabian Sea in August after 1976. Pakistan has given the name Asana to the cyclone. The Meteorological Department said that in the next two days it will move towards the west-northwest over the northeastern Arabian Sea, away from the Indian coast.
This is the first time after almost 49 years that a cyclone has developed in the coastal areas and moved towards the sea. The Meteorological Department said that there is no danger from this cyclone. It has moved from the coast towards the sea.
