Pm modi appeals to everyone to mark sardar patel and birsa munda's 150th births

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his cabinet would mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of independence soldier Birsa Munda and the country’s first home minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He also encouraged his fellow citizens to join in celebrations.

PM Modi said, “The government has decided to mark the 150th birth anniversary of these left people at the national level,” in the 115th episode of his monthly radio show Mann Ki Baat. I intend to motivate everyone to take part in this cause.

PM Modi goes on to state that Birsa Munda and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were both great people with similar ideals while confronting unique challenges.

In every era, India has had a few challenges. I am going to talk about two such fearless and creative heroes today in Mann Ki Baat. The country has made a choice to mark its 150th birthday. October 31 marks the start of Sardar Patel’s 150th birthday. The 150th anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth will after that start on November 15. If these two icons faced distinct challenges, they had the same goal of “unity of the country,” says PM Modi. Also, he recalled last year’s visit to Ulihatu village in Jharkhand, where Birsa Munda got his start.

To them, “I remember a lot of incidents from my life, but there is one that stands out as very special. I visited Ulihatu village in Jharkhand, the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, on November 15 of last year to mark his birth anniversary.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai also listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” in Raipur, but Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan listened to it in Jharkhand likewise.
