The Indian Premier League 2025 retention list is now public. All ten teams’ retained players have now been known by name. This time, a total of six players could be retained by any side. Mumbai Indians’ retention
Five players have been retained by the Mumbai Indians. Hardik Pandya (16.35 crore), Suryakumar Yadav (16.30 crore), Rohit Sharma (16.30 crore), Jaspreet Bumrah (18 crore), and Tilak Verma (8 crore) are some of the performers that are being retained.
Retention of CSK
The five players have been retained by the Chennai Super Kings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (4 crore), Ruturaj Gaikwad (18 crore), Ravindra Jadeja (18 crore), Shivam Dubey (12 crore), and Mathisa Pathirana (13 crore) are among the players retained by CSK.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s retention
The Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained five players: Nitish Reddy (6 crores), Travis Head (14 crores), Abhishek Sharma (14 crores), Pat Cummins (18 crores), and Henry Klaasen (23 crores).
Lucknow Supergiants’ retention

Four players have been retained by the Delhi Capitals. Tristan Stubbs (10 crore), Axar Patel (16.50 crore), Kuldeep Yadav (13.25 crore), and Abhishek Porel (4 crore) are among the players retained by Delhi.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s retention
Three players have been retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Virat Kohli (21 crores), Rajat Patidar (11 crores), and Yash Dayal (5 crores) are among the players retained by RCB.
Rajasthan Royals’ retention
Six players have been retained by the Rajasthan Royals for the coming season. Sanju Samson (18 crores), Yashasvi Jaiswal (18 crores), Riyan Parag (14 crores), Sandeep Sharma (4 crores), Shimron Hetmyer (11 crores), and Dhruv Jurel (14 crores) are among the players who have been retained. Six players in all have been retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders team. These six players are Ramandeep Singh (4 crore), Andre Russell (12 crore), Varun Chakraborty (12 crore), Rinku Singh (13 crore), Harshit Rana (4 crore), and Sunil Narine (12 crore).
Punjab Kings’ retention
With just two players left, the Punjab Kings team retained most players. Prabhsimran Singh (4 crore) and Shashank Singh (5.4 crore) have been retained by Punjab. It will thus have four retentions in all.
