India Launches The New Honda SP125 Motorcycle for 2025

One of Honda’s entry-level 125cc commuter bikes available in the Indian market is the SP125. It has more upscale features and styling than the Honda SP125 and is positioned marginally above the Honda Shine 125 in the manufacturer’s lineup.

The new 2025 Honda SP125 is available for purchase in India for Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In order to comply with the upcoming OBD2B regulations, the Honda SP125 has been updated. Additionally, this two-wheeler features new modern features and a new design. Which supports its ability to remain resilient in the face of rivalry.

Variants and available colors

There are drum and disc versions of this commuter available. There are five different colour options. Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic are a few of these hues.

Cost and accessibility

The base model Honda SP125 with drum brakes costs Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, the most expensive disc brake variant, ex-showroom in Delhi, costs Rs 1,00,284. Dealerships for Honda motorbikes and scooters are selling it all over India.

The motorcycle has a fuel-injected, single-cylinder, 124cc engine that complies with OBD2B regulations. 10.7 bhp and 10.9 Nm of torque are produced by this unit. A 5-speed gearbox is matched with this engine. Additionally, this vehicle has an idling stop system to improve its fuel efficiency.

OBD2B: What is it? Honda SP125.

The motorcycle’s OBD2B compliance allows it to continuously monitor emissions in order to make sure that exhaust gases meet stringent environmental and emission regulations. The OBD2 port must be connected to oxygen and other sensors in order to activate On-Board Diagnostics 2, or OBD2.

The motorcycle has a novel design. New features include aggressive tank covers on both sides of the fuel tank and headlamps and taillamps that are entirely LED. The bike’s graphics have also been updated, and the exhaust muffler now has a chrome cover.

What state are the features in

The 4.2-inch TFT display on the upgraded SP125 now has Bluetooth capability. For added convenience, a USB Type-C charging port is included. In addition, the new model of the two-wheeler has voice assistance and navigation compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app.
