The Bagmati Superfast Express, which was travelling from Mysore to Darbhanga, collided with an endtrain in an important rail accident in Tamil Nadu. There have reportedly been numerous reports of injuries from the crash. According to reports, it took place close to the Kavarappettai train station. Rescue efforts started, and railway officials have arrived to assess the situation.

There has been word of an important train accident from Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, where a stopped train and the Bagmati Superfast Express, which was travelling from Mysore to Darbhanga, collided. Twelve of the train’s carriages derailed as a result of the collision. There are 19 reported injuries from the accident.

A passenger train from Mysore to Perambur via Darbhanga collided with a freight train at the Kavarappettai railway station in Tiruvallur, according to Tiruvallur police, who informed the agency of this. The location of the accident has been reached by railway officials.

Following that, relief and rescue efforts got going right away. The whole train’s passengers have been evacuated. No passenger injuries have been reported. There have been no major injuries among the passengers. The railways are making special preparations to transport every passenger to their destination.

As to ANI, Dilip Kumar, the Executive Director of Information and Publicity of the Railway Board, declared, “We have received information regarding the 12578 Bagmati Express accident.” The railway relief and rescue staff have arrived at the accident location so far, and passengers are currently being evacuated from all of the coaches. Over 90% of the passengers have already been taken out.

“We have not yet received any information of any casualties or serious injuries,” a spokesperson stated. At the scene of the accident, there are medical and relief teams there. The DRM Sadan Chennai Division and GM Sadan Railway have departed for the scene of the mishap. The railways are making the necessary preparations from the Chennai station to transport the remaining passengers to their destination.

Many people are reported to be injured.

Additional details about the incident are awaited. According to news agency PTI, railway police stated that an express train collided with a stationary train in Kavarapettai, Tamil Nadu. They stated concern over the possibility of numerous injuries from the accident and reported that ambulances and rescue teams had departed for the scene of the accident.
