The fourth team in Test history that beat India with an unbeaten record was New Zealand. This success was previously achieved by Australia, New Zealand, England, and the West Indies

The Indian team had to face a 3-0 loss to New Zealand. When the Kiwi side beat the host team on Indian soil, they made history. Also, this is the first time a team has won a Test series 3-0 on Indian territory after India gained independence in 1947. No one had ever whitewashed the hosts in a Test series on Indian soil after independence, but New Zealand achieved this. Also, New Zealand became the fourth side in Test history to defeat India with a loss. The same feat was previously achieved by Australia, New Zealand, England, and the West Indies.

In 1933-34, the England team played India. The British defeated India 3-0 on that tour, but no team has done this on Indian soil in more than 90 years. Now, the Kiwi team made history by beating the Indians 3-0. By contrast, England is the most successful side when it comes to a clean sweep against India. In Test matches, England has defeated India a record four times. Australia comes in at number two after this. In Test matches, Australia has swept India clean three times. India has also been whitewashed once by the West Indies and once by New Zealand.

Particularly, New Zealand defeated India by 25 runs in the third Test. By winning the series 3-0 on Indian soil, the Kiwi team made history. Despite having a 147-run target, the Indian team scored 121 runs. New Zealand’s Ajaz Patel claimed six wickets in the second innings. Ajaz Patel had previously claimed five wickets in the opening inning. He took 11 wickets in the Test in this way. Ajaz Patel won Player of the Match for this outstanding performance.
