Devendra Fadnavis met with the state cabinet today after taking the oath of office as the leader of Maharashtra’s new government. Wherein he was accompanied by Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde, both deputy chief ministers. This cabinet meeting has also resulted in a number of significant decisions.

The first cabinet meeting of the Mahayuti government took place following the swearing-in of the new Maharashtra government. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis approved a proposal on Thursday to give Rs 5 lakh in financial assistance to a patient waiting for a bone marrow transplant, signing his first file as head of state. The Pune-based wife of Chandrakant Kurhade reportedly applied for assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in order to pay for her husband’s medical care. Before presiding over the first cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister signed the document.
