Aman Sehrawat Makes History as India’s Youngest Individual Olympic Medalist

Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat has received a timely promotion from the state-owned Northern Railways on account of his Olympic bronze medal. Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) have been appointed for the gold, silver and bronze medal winning athlete of Paris Olympics 2024.GM Northern Railway Shri Sanjoy Mookerjeee presented a shawl to the Olympian along with General Manager,Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri.

On the occasion, Northern Railways Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Himanshu S. Upadhyay said in a statement issued that “Shri Aman Sehrawat has been promoted to medal winning Olympian for his Olympic sport & him as OSD/Sports by Shri Sujit Kumar Mishra, Principal Chief Personnel Officer of Northern Railway”.

Continuing the good work for India, freestyle wrestler Shri Aman Sehrawat has secured a place on the third step of victory (bronze) by putting up nearly an exemplary performance in Paris. His dedication, hard work and quest for perfection is an example for millions.
