Ronaldo scored two goals for the winning team during Al Nassr’s 4-2 win over Al Ittihad. With this, his number of goals in the league reached 35. Portugal’s Ronaldo has broken the record of Abderrazak Hamdallah. Hamdallah scored 34 goals in the league held in 2019.

The team remained 14 points behind local contender Al Hilal, which won the championship with more than two weeks to go and ended the season on Monday unbeaten in the 34-round league. The team defeated Al Wehda 2-1 in its last league match. Al Hilal’s team was able to easily dominate the opposing teams even in the absence of Neymar. Neymar joined this team in August last year after leaving Paris Saint-Germain but was ruled out for the entire season due to an ACL injury in October.
